AEC Hackathon – Copenhagen

  • BLOXHUB Bryghuspladsen 8, 3 Copenhagen 1473 Denmark (map)

Join AEC Hackathon at BLOXHUB

From 28 February to 2 March, more than 100 bright minds will come together for the AEC Hackathon at BLOXHUB. This unique event will unite engineers, architects, BIM developers, design thinkers, anthropologists, and tech enthusiasts to address some of the most urgent challenges of our time.

This year, we’re tackling three critical dilemmas:

  • Creating a CO2-neutral built environment.

  • Implementing and monitoring biodiversity solutions while minimizing value chain losses.

  • Expanding the value of user engagement and citizen participation.

Over three intense, collaborative days, participants will brainstorm, prototype, and present proposals and ideas that push the boundaries of architecture, engineering, construction, technology, and collaboration. From software tools to conceptual workflows and actionable frameworks, the outcomes will serve as starting points for further development, helping to shape the future of the built environment and drive the green and social transition in the AEC industries.

The AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Hackathon was created in 2013 to give those designing, building, and maintaining our built environment the opportunity to collaborate with cutting edge technologies and its developers and designers. It has quickly become a community of innovators that includes all elements of the built environment, not just AEC.

This year’s AEC Hackathon is made possible in collaboration with COWI, Arkitema, Henning Larsen, PropTech Denmark, We Build Denmark, and Molio, who bring their expertise and support to ensure an exciting event.
