    In communicating with potential customers PropTech Denmark processes personal information, so that it is possible to engage in a dialogue with you in regards to any questions or enquiries about the services. We only process information submitted or otherwise provided to us in the context of our communication.

    PropTech Denmark will typically process the following general information: your name, email and phone number.

    Our legal basis for processing this personal information is in accordance with databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1 litra f artikel 6, stk. 1 litra f.

    PropTech Denmark deletes the history of communication with you once it becomes clear whether you wish to engage with PropTech Denmark’s services or not.

    Should there be a specific case where there is a need to retain your personal information for a longer period, this may be the case.

  • PropTech Denmark has to be able to communicate with customers and members to ensure that services are supplied and maintained correctly. In such cases, it may be relevant to store personal information such as name, email, phone number, address, services, special agreements, payment information, and similar.

    The legal basis for processing this information is in accordance with databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1 litra b.

    Once services are delivered and/or any outstanding matters are resolved, PropTech Denmark will promptly delete the related personal information.

  • PropTech Denmark offers a newsletter which you can voluntarily subscribe to. It is always possible to unsubscribe to this service at any time.

    The purpose of the newsletter is to send emails to subscribers with new information from the company. This may include updates on new content on the PropTech Denmark websites and advertising of services.

    PropTech Denmark will only send you emails if you have given your explicit consent to do so.

    Our legal basis for processing your personal information in regards to the newsletter is in accordance with databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1 litra a.

    PropTech Denmark will process your personal information as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. Upon unsubscribing to the newsletter, PropTech Denmark will no longer send you newsletters. If PropTech Denmark has not sent you a newsletter in 12 months, your consent will expire due to PropTech Denmark’s inactivity.

    Upon unsubscribing from the newsletter, we will retain your previously given consent for 2 years after its last use due to statutory limitation requirements in accordance with Forbrugerombudsmandens spamvejledning afsnit 11.3.

  • We are required to store all accounting documents according to Bogføringsloven . This means that we keep invoices and similar documents for accounting purposes. This may include general personal information, such as: name, email, phone, address and service description(s).

    Our legal basis for processing personal data for accounting purposes is in accordance with databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1 litra a.

    We retain this information for a minimum of 5 years after the current fiscal year has ended.

  • Few can handle everything on their own, and the same goes for PropTech Denmark. Therefore, we have partners and use suppliers, some of whom may act as data processors.

    Outsourced suppliers may, for example, provide systems to organise our work and PropTech Denmark events, services consulting, IT hosting, and/or marketing.

    PropTech Denmark takes full responsibility to ensure that personal information is handled in accordance with appropriate regulations and companies guidelines.

    We enter into agreements with companies (data processors) that handle personal information on our behalf to enhance the security of your personal information.

  • PropTech Denmark does not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent.

  • We use data processors in the EU/EEA and also outside of EU.

    PropTech Denmark reviews of each of our providers to limit risks and to evaluate and continuously access their compliance with GDPR and EU regulations.

Data processing security

We ensure the security of the processing of personal information by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures.

We conduct risk assessments of our processing of personal information and have subsequently implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to enhance processing security.

One of our key measures is keeping our employees informed about GDPR through ongoing awareness training, GDPR courses, and by reviewing our GDPR procedures with the staff.

D-seal certified

PropTech Denmark is D-seal certified. The D-seal certification ensures that PropTech Denmark is compliant with IT security, accountability and responsible use of data in accordance to the criteria of the D-seal. Learn more about the D-seal here.

  • You have the right to obtain and gain access about information we process about you, as well as a range of additional information.

  • You have the right to have information about you deleted before the time of our regular general deletion occurs.

If you have the right to restrict the processing, we may only process the information in the future — except for storage — with your consent or for the purpose of establishing, asserting, or defending legal claims, or to protect a person or important societal interest.

  • You have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal information. You can also object to the processing of your information for direct marketing.

  • You always have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as to have this personal transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.
