The green transition has emerged as the primary concern for over half of the respondents, and as the stand out challenge - driven by both proactive demand and regulatory requirements.
An opportunity with this is to make a concrete plan for how to use data strategically than can work for both people and planet.

The number of organisations reporting they have a digital strategy grows steadily, yet in our projection it’ll take until 2031 before we get close to 100%. This will make it hard for the industry to adapt to the needs of the 21st century, let alone stay competitive, or indeed compliant, in 2024.

2022 was a record year for Venture Capital investments into PropTech. 2023 was a quieter year, and also a year where the leading VCs doubled down on investments in startups that can help derisk on energy, efficiency - and more broadly on ESG.
