Belgian proptech Ziggu joins PropTech Denmark to enter the Nordics
Ziggu is a digital customer engagement platform for real estate developers. With the platform, Ziggu responds to the need of a more interactive customer follow-up within the real estate sector. Ziggu has raised 1 million euro and is now expanding their platform at the same time taking next steps towards further internationalisation.
Homebuyers expect more than you think
Ziggu’s platform builds a bridge between real estate developers, their construction partners and homebuyers, by allowing them to communicate with each other and effectively exchange information through a centralized platform. Because of this, homebuyers can stay up to date about the building process at a distance, for which there was a strong need, in particular even more so in the past few months, according to co-founder Yannick Bontinckx.
“Based on our own research, we found that homebuyers often feel out of touch during the building process.”, Bontinckx says.
“Customers nowadays expect a great online experience, like they are used to from other brands in their daily life. With Ziggu, we ensure that they have a good view on the development of their future house, from beginning to end.”
Better customers journeys – more efficient administration
Real estate developers and construction companies can work very effectively with Ziggu for their communication and administration. Furthermore, via the platform they can take their customers along a seamless customer journey and by doing so meet their growing expectations. A part of the investment will allow Ziggu to keep focusing on expanding their platform. The founders of Ziggu have a long-term vision for digitization within the real estate sector. With their software platform, they simultaneously alleviate the frustrations of home buyers as well as provide a significant efficiency gain for the real estate developer. “The more efficient you communicate, the easier the realisation of the project goes'', Damien explains. As a project manager and Ziggu user at BESIX RED, he saw first hand how the platform impacted their day-to-day operations as well. “By involving and engaging our customers more, we positively impact their level of satisfaction. In return, those customers are reacting faster and making decisions more proactively.”
Denmark is the next natural market for Ziggu
Scandinavia and Denmark in particular, have always been high on the list for Ziggu to set foot. “In many ways, the construction sector is very similar to our home base, Belgium-Luxembourg'', Yannick explains. “Homebuyers get a lot of options to choose from and are involved throughout the construction process up until delivery. That in turn comes with a ton of challenges for the homebuilder to manage. It’s a more complex workflow and more intense level of communication you don’t see in every market. Luckily, Ziggu helps those developers to save time, reduce costs drastically and at the same time boost customer satisfaction”.
