PropTech Denmark’s Managing Director, Michael Ambjørn, and former Network Director, Jakob Stoumann, hosted the online event streamed on Youtube and LinkedIn.

Two Danish proptechs won an award at the first Nordic PropTech Award show, announced at the live-streamed event by PropTech Denmark in Copenhagen.

Streamed live from Copenhagen

At a live-streamed event in Copenhagen, hosted by PropTech Denmark, the first winners of the Nordic PropTech Awards were revealed, and awards were awarded within five categories, namely Space-as-a-service, ConTech, FinTech, Property Management, and Sustainable & Healthy Buildings.

The Nordic PropTech Awards is a collaboration between the four Nordic proptech associations; PropTech Denmark, PropTech Sweden, PropTech Norway, and PropTech Finland. The winners will be rewarded with a membership of the relevant proptech associations as well as access and the opportunity to showcase themselves at the world's largest real estate fair, MIPIM in Cannes.

Nearly 70 nominated proptechs across the Nordic region

67 startups from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland were selected as nominees, 20 of whom went on to the final. At the finals, all 20 companies pitched their solutions to the selected jury, consisting of key individuals within Scandinavian real estate, including Henrik Dahl (EjendomDanmark), Mathis Grimstad (Stor-Oslo Eiendom), and Nicole LeBlanc (2150), to mention a few.

Two Danish companies won an award

Two Danish companies took home awards within the categories Space-as-a-Service and ConTech. The first company, in the Space-as-a-Service category, is Nornorm – a Danish company that offers furniture rental on demand. The second company, COBOD International, a leading company within 3D printing of buildings, won the award within the category ConTech.

"We are pleased to announce, celebrate, and accelerate the first winners of the Nordic PropTech Awards. The winners have gone through a thorough evaluation process, and all companies contribute with 'state of the art' products and solutions that are ready to make a real difference within the industry. We should thank our 38 jurors, consisting of investors, experts, and advisors from all over the Nordic region. In addition, we would like to express our sincere gratitude towards an excellent cooperation between the Nordic PropTech associations.

Let us move on innovation, make meaningful changes, and let us make it sustainable. The Nordic PropTech Awards 2022 have proven that there are plenty of solutions out there. Let's celebrate them - and then get to make use of them," says Michael Ambjørn, Managing Director, PropTech Denmark.
